The Bolalong
Being the only plant that survived the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, this 250-million-year-old sacred tree is said to be an elixir of life. The exceptional adaptability of the gingko biloba, which resisted all geological and thermal upheavals, is admired by the specialists.
Since then, we can find it throughout the world, including in very harsh urban environments.
By choosing this plant as a logo, Cleanea wished to pay tribute to this unusual tree, symbol of resistance to pollution and other damage.
The Team
Cleanea was founded in March 2009 by a multidisciplinary team made up of:
Jean-Christophe PRUVOST, graduated from CENTRALE French Engineering School and ESSEC Business School. He worked as a Business Unit Manager within Elis and Pierre & Vacances, and as an entrepreneur in an organic food company. He is the Founder and current President of Cleanea. Max DESLANDES, mechanical engineer graduated from ENSI Valenciennes, has worked for 14 years as a "product and process" engineer in ThyssenKrup. He manages the Research & Development in Cleanea.
Master Franchisee for Asia, Hadi Ismail, is a Mechanical Engineer, graduated from University College Dublin in 1978. He worked at General Electric for 29 years. At the time of leaving GE in 2007 to set up his own business, Power Of One Consulting, he had attained senior executive level as GM Energy sales, Asia. He has been living in Singapore for 21 years.
